Seven-day route

Day 3 IP connectivity Reason about routing tables, default routes, static routes, OSPF basics, and next-hop behavior.
Day 4 Security fundamentals Apply device hardening, ACLs, AAA, VPN concepts, segmentation, and secure management.
Day 5 Automation and programmability Recognize APIs, JSON, controllers, configuration management, and network automation concepts.
Day 6 Troubleshooting Use OSI-like isolation, show commands, logs, pings, traceroute, ARP, MAC tables, and interface counters.
Day 7 Timed review and scheduling decision Run a timed practice block, review explanations, update a one-page rule sheet, and verify current vendor facts before scheduling.

If you only have 48 hours

  1. Read the cheat sheet twice: once before practice and once after reviewing misses.
  2. Drill one mixed block and write a one-line reason for every wrong answer.
  3. Spend the next block only on your weakest two lanes.
  4. Recheck the current official vendor page before scheduling or buying an exam attempt.
